| Unable to Connect to the Golf Plus web site |
CaddyConnect is used to connect your CaddyLite to your PC and enable you to download maps from your online account. We are continually improving the application to provide new features and functionaility. The latest version is available for download from here.

You may see the message, in CaddyConnect, 'Unable to Connect to the Golf Plus Web Sitee' when starting CaddyConnect, registering your Caddy Lite device or downloading maps. This is simply due to the CaddyConnect software not being able to establish an HTTP connection tot he Golf Plus web site to transfer information.
In our experience, the most common causes are either:

The computer is not connected to the internet!

A firewall is preventing the software from establishing an HTTP connection. The firewall could either be physical hardware (such as one at your place of work or in your broadband router) or a software base done such as Norton or McAfee Internet Security.

If your firewall is at your place of work, you need to discuss with your networking support colleagues the possibility of allowing the CaddyConnect software access to http://www.golf-plus.co.uk. No specific port information is used. |
